I feel stronger and more confident in my body
I first walked through Breathe's doors in December of 2017, thanks to a friend who lived nearby. She had a Groupon for Hot Pilates and asked if I wanted to join her. At the time, I wasn't sure what to expect.
I've always loved group fitness classes—kickboxing, CrossFit, step aerobics—you name it. But I wasn't convinced Pilates could challenge me in the same way. After my very first heated class, though, I was hooked. The warmth, the intensity, and the way it complemented my other workouts by being lower impact—it all just clicked.
At the beginning, my goal was simple: I wanted more core strength. That was something I wasn't getting from my other workouts.
Over the years, what keeps me coming back is the community and the sustainability of each workout. Each class feels fresh and authentic, the instructors are amazing, and the heated environment has done wonders for my flexibility. As someone who works from home, Breathe has given me more than a workout—it's given me a place to feel connected and supported.
Looking back, Breathe has completely shifted how I think about fitness. I've realized that more is not necessarily better and that low impact workouts can have an incredible impact on the body. I feel stronger, more confident, and more at home in my body today than I ever did during my intense workout phases. Breathe has become a constant in my life.
